This device provides a means of injecting DC power in a
coaxial cable, to power remotely-located devices such as active
antennas, low-noise amplifiers and downconverters. It features a
very flat frequency response, making it possible to use this
device in a very wide frequency range, from 20 kHz to 650 MHz.
|
The WiNRADiO WR-BT-650 Power Injector is especially
suitable for use with WiNRADiO AX-81S
Active HF Antenna.
Installation
|
In this example, an active antenna (such as the
AX-81S
antenna) is powered via the coaxial cable. On the receiver
side, the power is injected in the coaxial cable using the
WiNRADiO WR-BT-650 Bias 'T' device. Such arrangement makes it
possible to conveniently power the antenna via the coaxial cable
and eliminate additional wiring.
A suitable 12 V power supply to use with the WR-BT-650 Power
Injector is the WiNRADiO low-noise linear model SF-41.
