The full support of all W61PC functions lets the W61LAN-MK2 easily
communicate with other applications. Real DSP technology is combined with
today's PC power.
Features
The W61LAN-MK2 decoder offers all the functions of the W61PC plus all the
advantages of a small computer system. The complete electronic circuitry is
realized in a metallic, shielded box. It can be connected to a PC or laptop via
LAN or can run as a normal stand alone system. As the W61LAN-MK2 operates at 12V
DC power, it is very well suited for mobile use.
The W61LAN-MK2 may be operated in a number of modes:
- As a self contained computer system with one W61PC card.
- With the WAVECOM user interface from any computer connected to the LAN or
the Internet.
- With Windows "Remote Desktop Service".
- With third party remote control software.
W61LAN-MK2 Hardware
W61LAN-MK2 contains a W61PC, a complete single board computer system, hard disk,
VGA, DVI, USB, soundcard and LAN adapter.
Multiple systems can be connected to one laptop or PC. It is also possible to
use a W61LAN-MK2 together with other WAVECOM products.

W61LAN-MK2 Software
The standard W61PC user interface is able to communicate with a W61LAN-MK2 unit
over the network. On the W61LAN-MK2 runs exactly the same software as with other
W61PC.
Services
For authorized government agencies WAVECOM is able to provide:
- Additional customer specific modes.

and the complete development environment. This allows for implementing
additional codes or adapting the user interface to specific requirements.

The WAVECOM classifier is an important analysis
tool for classifying unknown signals. The purpose is to determine the modulation
type, baud rate, frequency shift and bandwidth of one or more signals.
WAVECOM W-61SAT Satellite Option SFT 37
The W61SAT modes are a software option for the
professional versions of the WAVECOM® decoders.
WAVECOM CODAN-9001 SFT 55
Asynchronous adaptive ARQ system. Data is modulated onto 16 tones spaced 112.5
Hz.
WAVECOM CLOVER-2 SFT 44
CLOVER-2 is an adaptive modulation system
with ARQ and FEC (broadcast) modus. It uses Reed-Solomon (RS) coding to achieve
a remarkable performance even under poor HF propagation conditions. Data is
modulated onto four tones spaced 125 Hz.
WAVECOM PACTOR 3 SFT 43
PACTOR-III is an adaptive transmission mode
that provides higher throughput and improved robustness compared to PACTOR-I and
–II, both of designed for operation within a bandwidth of 500 Hz.
