OVERVIEW
The RJ-P9700 Cellular Phone Jammer transmits radio signals at
specific frequencies to prevent the operation of cellular phones in a
non-destructive way. Users outside the jamming range are still able to use their
phones in the usual manner, which allows for targeted and localized prevention
of cellular phone usage.
Exact control of jamming coverage is further enhanced
through a unique feature of the RJ-P9700 by providing a continuously variable RF
output power adjustment with digital readout. This allows the user to customize
its deployment to suit specific requirements.
Activating the jammer will result in affected phone handsets
losing connection and showing a ‘No service provider’ (or similar)
message. Calls in progress will be terminated and incoming calls are also
blocked.
As soon as the jammer is turned off or the phone user moves
outside the transmission range of the jammer, these handsets will automatically
reconnect within a few seconds and provide full functionality again.
Precise frequency control is based on 10 ppm crystals which are
swept to produce an even output across the four entire cellular bands with a
little overlap. Output power is 10 watts on each of the bands. This design
provides continuous jamming if cell phone use is attempted on several channels
simultaneously.
The digital control makes it possible to disable/enable bands and adjust the
jamming power in 1 dB increments to ensure that excess jamming power is not
generated in unwanted areas.
All whips are attached by standard SMA connectors making substitution of
antennas or remote, cable-connected antennas easy. Multiple, separate Hadrian
jammers allow the construction of a reliable, contoured coverage pattern closely
matching the geography and architecture of the protected area. Additionally,
directional antennas can be used around the perimeter of the protected area to
enclose the jamming field.
