This powerful antenna system utilizes a high gain, light weight, loop Yagi to pick up weak INMARSAT communications satellite signals which are boosted by a custom made, low noise, high-gain preamplifier mounted at the antenna for lowest loss. The FM signals are then delivered by coax to your wide-frequency-coverage scanner or receiver. Operating power for the preamp is inserted into the coax by an indoor bias supply.
