The LA-390 active loop antenna provides improved indoor reception over a wide bandwidth. It should be placed near a window for best signal pickup.
The 12” loop may be rotated for sharp directivity toward the desired signal, or for maximum rejection of interference.
An internal amplifier provides 18 dB gain from 150 kHz-30 MHz, and can be tuned for sharp selectivity in four switch-selectable bands: 150-800 kHz LW, 700 kHz-3 MHz MW, 3-10 MHz low shortwave, 10-30 MHz high shortwave.
The fifth switch position selects a non-directional, wideband (30-500
MHz) active antenna function with 14 dB gain for VHF/UHF reception.
