This potent portable offers dual conversion and single sideband (SSB) detection, as well as a 256M MP3 recorder/player for 10 hours of high quality sound! Plug in an external audio device like your MP3 or iPod and play it on this amplified speaker!

The wide frequency coverage includes 140-1700 kHz and 3-30 MHz long wave, medium wave and shortwave broadcasting, 70-108 MHz FM broadcasting, and all NOAA weather channels. Store 400 of your favorite frequencies in memory.

The smart rechargeable system can charge the built in batteries for the radio and MP3 player. Three separate clock/timer functions are included; set the sensitivity to local, normal and DX for overload reduction. Program station names and frequencies on a txt file and load them into the radio
