The
48 inch Model VU Flex-Tenna™ is a thin
and inconspicuous, flexible-wire antenna designed to provide continuous
25-2500 MHz reception on scanners. Since it's a narrow length of
clear-insulated cable, it is an excellent choice for low-visibility
installations.
Only
1/4" wide and clear-vinyl insulated for low visibility, the Flex-Tenna™ is
conveniently rolled up for easy transport and is an ideal monitoring antenna
for camping, motels, emergency deployment, and fixed installations.
The VU Flex-Tenna™ can be hung vertically from a
tree branch, roofline, ceiling, upper
window casing, doorway, or attic roof truss. No ground or radials are
required. An female F connector is provided for convenient attachment to low-loss
coaxial cable like the Grove CBL-50 and CBL-100.
