AOR LN4000 LOW
For the discriminating scanner user who needs
the best possible weak-signal amplification without amplifying the noise as
well, this tiny (1" square) preamp is the answer!
The LN4000 offers 20 dB (typical) signal amplification
from 100-4000 MHz (-3 dB), at a low noise figure of only 4.5 dB. It is powered
by any convenient 5 to 12 VDC, 30 mA (typical), center pin positive, power
supply (available as an accessory).
Includes 10" coaxial receiver/scanner interconnect
cable with SMA connectors and BNC adaptors. A 10' power supply cable with DC
connector is also provided for remote mounting.
NOTE: Antenna preamplifiers increase the strength of strong
signals as well as weak. If you experience strong-signal overload, a filter for
the offending frequencies is recommended.
