The long-standing, highly-respected AR5000 has been replaced by the new AR5001D. Is there much difference? You bet there is – the AR5001D is like an AR5000 on steroids!  With continuous frequency coverage from 40 kHz-3150 MHz (3.15 GHz), this new receiver can search or scan 2000 alphanumeric memory channels at a lightning-fast speed of up to 1000 channels per second!   It can receive up to three different frequencies simultaneously, and can show real-time signal activity on its built-in spectrum display with a span up to 15 MHz wide!

Computer control this receiver through its RS232 or USB 2.0 ports, and record signal contents on an SD card! Reveal NTSC or PAL wireless surveillance cameras by attaching an appropriate analog monitor to the AR5001D video output jack.  Select IF bandwidths from 200 Hz-300 kHz, and process the signal with an automatic notch filter, noise reduction and noise blanking, and even a speech inversion descrambler (not available on consumer model).

  Decode CTCSS, DCS, DTMF, and even APCO P25 (with optional P25-2300 decoder). There’s even a 12 kHz I/Q output for computer-decoding DRM stations. Signal overload is a thing of the past with this receiver’s +20 dBm third-order intermod rejection at HF (+12 dB at VHF). For multifunctional, affordable, wide-spectrum reception, this receiver has reset the standards!

AOR IQ-5001 I/Q Interface w/Control Software
The AR-IQ is an optional accessory for the AR2300 and AR5001D. 
The AR-IQ comes with an I/Q interface board to be plugged into each receive, the control software,
and 2 USB interface cables. No other hardware/software is needed to use I/Q function.

AOR GP-5001 External GPS / Interface Unit
The GP-5001 is an accessory for the AR2300 and AR5001D to provide a high accuracy of frequency standard (10MHz) with 0.01 ppm.

AOR ARL2300 Remote Control
With a LAN or high speed internet connection, the ARL2300 allows distant computer operation of the AR2300 or AR5001D receiver.  Control functions include frequency, bandwidth, mode, sampling rate, present VFO memory, attenuator, preamplifier, volume, and squelch.
