Often referred to as Long Wire Balun, this device is used to match the impedance of a long wire HF antenna to a 50 ohm input impedance of a receiver. Such impedance matching usually results in a significant signal strength increase (up to 17dB in some cases, and approximately 5dB on average), compared to the long wire antenna connected directly to the antenna input of the receiver. Frequency coverage 0.1 to 30 MHz
WinRadio products are available only to customers in the U.S. and Canada.
For AM broadcast band (540-1700 kHz) portables, nothing peps up a portable’s reception like an external loop antenna. Place the AN200, a low cost, 9” diameter, tunable loop alongside any radio with a built-in ferrite loop antenna and tune it for dramatically magnified reception. For direct connection to a radio’s external antenna jack, a 3” shielded lead with a stereo phone plug on one end and tinned wires on the other is provided.

The AX-17C Indoor Active HF Antenna is a unique low-cost small-sized antenna suitable for applications where conventional large-sized HF antennas are not possible to use, for example in apartment buildings, or for covert or mobile use. The antenna construction relies on a special type of ferrite material combined with a unique active circuit which maximizes sensitivity and minimizes overload from nearby strong signals. Frequency Coverage 0.1-30 MHz
No room for an outdoor antenna? While that's always best, try this flexible, indoor wire antenna with 10 kHz-2500 MHz reception.
