This handsome external speaker is ideal for improving
sound from shortwave receivers and scanners.
Housed in a professional metal
cabinet with gray wrinkle finish, the 5 inch speaker handles up to 3 watts of
receiver audio at 8 ohms. A
front-panel mode switch allows selection of SSB, CW, manual adjust, or mute. The
listener may custom-adjust his listening with multi-position switches for treble
and bass.
Push-button selection from either of two RCA phono-jack
inputs permits choice of audio source (cable included), and both a quarter-inch
and 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) headphone jacks are front-panel accessible.
