FIXED BASE RDF ANTENNAS

 

            Rugged, weather sealed and transportable, the DFA series is readily mast- or tower-mounted for fixed-site DF applications. Being of a true H-Adcock design, they avoid the erratic performance characteristic of loops and provide superior sensitivity and listen-through capability over many pseudo-Doppler designs.

            The signal processing offers ultra-high signal handling capability in dense RF environments. A supplied isolation mast assures symmetrical, continuous-frequency performance which is not distorted by a supporting mast, tower or changes in height. The elements and isolation mast are removable for storage and transport.

            The DFA series “personality module” communicates directly with all B series bearing processors via a single, 8 meter, RS-232 digital interface cable (custom cable lengths are available), displaying the antenna model and frequency coverage on the DF processor to avoid out-of-band operation.

            The DFA series is ideally suited for law enforcement, surveillance, SIGINT, frequency management, interference location, search and rescue, scientific, and other applications requiring professional quality, radio direction finding.

MOBILE RDF ANTENNAS

 

            This rugged, compact, lightweight, low profile, weather-sealed mobile RDF series is easily installed on cars, vans, aircraft, or any platform having a sizeable metallic ground plane. The elements are easily removed for shipping and storage.

            The DMA series “personality module” communicates directly with all B series bearing processors via a single, 4.5 meter, RS-232 digital interface cable (custom cable lengths are available), displaying the antenna model and frequency coverage on the DF processor to avoid out-of-band operation.

            Nylon mounting straps for vehicle roof-top installations are anchored with rain-gutter hooks, and are looped into the slots of the 1/8" thick bottom plate. A rubber mounting pad is adhered to the bottom-plate for vehicle paint protection.

            For sturdy, permanent, bulkhead mounting, the bottom-plate flange has 8 quarter-inch holes; for this application, the mounting pad can be supplied detached from the bottom-plate upon request.

            The DMA series is ideally suited for law enforcement, surveillance, SIGINT, frequency management, interference location, search and rescue, scientific, and other applications requiring professional quality, radio direction finding.

DRD-100 REMOTE DISPLAY UNIT PRODUCT DATA SHEET

 

            The compact DRD-100 remote display unit was developed for the convenience of close, confined quarters as in mobile and cockpit applications. The display is identical to that shown on the DFP-1000B/DFP-101B to which it is connected, showing polar and numeric bearings, signal strength, operating mode, IF bandwidth, DF antenna model with its frequency coverage, and other information as well.  Measuring only 3.2" x 5.0" x 0.75” and weighing a mere 7 oz., the unit is supplied with Velcro strips for mounting on a dashboard or instrument panel. A 3 meter interface cable is included; custom lengths are available.
