If your scanner reception needs a little
boost, this is the preamp to do it!
Providing high
gain at low noise, and operating continuously over 1 GHZ of spectrum, this
signal booster can really make a difference in weak signal areas! The MMIC
pre-amp's dynamic range assures excellent strong-signal-overload intermod
rejection {better than your scanner!}
Equipped with BNC connectors, no adjustment is necessary; just plug your antenna cable into the pre-amp, and run the 3' BNC-BNC cable {provided by Grove at no extra charge} to the BNC antenna connector on your scanner-- that's it!
For mobile applications, use a
12 VDC cable {not supplied} to the vehicle power source; for base operation, a
120 VAC/12 VDC wall adaptor is included at no extra charge!

"I got the Ramsey preamp--it's the best thing ever sold! I hooked up
two scanners, and now I'm picking up a Mississippi Air Force base on UHF with a
Discone from here in Illinois!" R. Wood
