"Recently, I called Grove with a unique situation on installing a short-wave antenna. After a lengthy conversation with you, your suggestion was the PAR Endfedz Antenna. WOW, is all I can say at this time. I have it installed about 20 feet above the ground in a NW/SE direction and my Icom R-70 has come alive. Signals that were unreadable or non-existent have appeared out of no where. Thank You for taking the time to discuss my options and making a true short-wave listener out of me. getting
excellent reception on AM and SWL. I was unable receive any of the Midwest power
houses with the Yaesu active antenna; KOA from Denver sounds like one of the
locals here in Tucson. I've had minimal time on SW, but I made several logs of
stations unheard with the Yaesu; all 496 - 595. This is a great antenna and
can't wait to hear the results after I fine tune my installation with an arm
that will suspend the antenna away from the building, and get a decent ground. I
should be in listener heaven. Thanks again." Jim
